Note Regarding November 27th, 2023 Announcement About Relocation from Newport Beach, California to New Albany, Ohio
Following a year-long nationwide search, Kennon-Green & Co. announced on November 27th, 2023, and subsequently disclosed in a Form ADV filing, that it was relocating all operations from Newport Beach, California to New Albany, Ohio, one of the wealthiest cities in the United States that is located within approximately 500 miles from 50% of the population of both the U.S. and Canada making it ideal for serving the needs of its geographically diverse affluent and high net worth private clients. This relocation would begin at the start of January 2024 to align with the fiscal, tax, and calendar year so that all private client meetings, portfolio management, administrative and compliance functions, etc. would occur in Ohio, where the Managing Directors had purchased a home and moved their family. That relocation was a success. In addition, during 2024, the Managing Directors formed a special purpose real estate holding company and acquired a commercial property to serve as Kennon-Green & Co.’s headquarters in New Albany to support continued growth.
